Frequently Asked Questions

How many dogs are walked at any one time?

I am insured for up to 6 dogs at a time

How are dogs transported?

Dogs are transported in a secure cage in the back of my van

Do you walk dogs off lead?

I much prefer the dogs to be off lead playing together so, if I feel I can trust your dog off lead and providing you have signed the form giving permission, then I will let them off

Do you do walks every day?

No, I work Monday-Thursday. I don't work Fridays or weekends

Are you insured?

Yes I am insured with Pet Business Insurance

Are you first aid trained?

Yes, I renew my first aid training every 3 years

How will you collect my dog?

Prior to starting any services, we will do a meet and greet and this would be your opportunity to either give me a key to the property or let me know the key code

How long are the walks?

I offer 30 minute or 1 hour walks and the time begins once we reach our walking spot and not from when your dog is collected. Often this means a dog on a 1 hour group walk is actually out of the house for around 2 hours

My dog doesn't like other dogs, can you walk them?

Unfortunately, we are only able to offer walks to dogs that are friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs

What happens in an emergency?

In an emergency, we will contact you immediately to discuss the situation. If we are unable to contact you and urgent veterinary attention is required, we will take your dog to your nominated veterinary practice or alternatively the nearest vet depending on the circumstances.

How do I pay?

You will be invoiced every Sunday for the week ahead and payments will need to be sent by Friday of that week

Where do you walk?

We walk all over Alsager, Rode Heath & Church Lawton. I do not disclose the specific spots for safety reasons but would be happy to discuss this in person

What areas do you collect from?

I only walk dogs that live in Alsager or just outside of Alsager by a few minutes
